Sr HR Transformation Manager
Summary

As a key member of the HR Transformation team, the Sr HR Transformation Manager will work to integrate people, process and technology dimensions collectively to transform the HR function. This includes HR strategy and governance; stakeholder identification, and management, change management and communication; HR service delivery model and process; technology, data and analytics; and project and transformation management. This role will be a key resource to manage large-scale HR Transformation projects. 

Responsibilities
  • Manages day to day interactions with executive leadership and sponsors.
  • Provides leadership and support for delivery teams.
  • Synthesizes overall operations strategy by analyzing a variety of business solutions.
  • Selects tools/techniques to meet specific requirements such as business case, pricing, or financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs.
  • Conducts analyses in focused specialty areas to draw conclusions, and developing recommendations based on structured frameworks.
  • Utilizes critical and analytical thinking skills to assist in determining the requirements of projects and programs through defining, analyzing, and managing data sets to meet needs and expectations.
  • Guides conversations with workstreams to help determine the needs and expectations of the project and then confirm these with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Creates clear, effective deliverable content, including written, visual, and oral deliverables, which are informed by research, analytics, and stakeholder meetings. Presents content that addresses needs in solutioning sessions to drive toward a decision, and validating that decision with leadership to drive the company’ s growth and progress.
  • Works across all phases of the project delivery lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of HR Transformation Shared Services solutions
  • Supports effective project management by generating and delivering reports to internal and external stakeholders, including project and workstream status. Supporting the development of HR process design and HR operations documentation based on requirements
  • Coordinates day-to-day project tasks of workstream team members to ensure the timely and quality completion and delivery of project tasks.
  • Performs end-to-end project testing of technology and functional deliverables
  • Leads and supports HR Shared Service Center training on project-designed processes and technologies during project implementation.
  • Develops performance standards for key matrix and/or direct report project management resources, coaching team members to ensure we exceed standard and achieve our project goals.
  • Works collaboratively with other project management resources and workstreams across the business to ensure alignment, proper prioritization, and manage collisions.
  • Develops scorecards and measurement tools to report on the health of key transformation efforts against established goals, objectives, budgets, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Provides weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual updates on the progress of key transformational work to various audiences across the business, ranging from front-line team members to c-suite executives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Technology Systems, Engineering or like discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years direct experience in human resources, change management, transformation or program management is preferred. 
  • 3+ years experience leading matrixed teams is a plus
  • Proven experience in the development, implementation and management of a complex transformation initiative.
  • Demonstrated understanding of industry-leading Program Management methodologies and/or frameworks.
  • Proficient in value stream mapping, process capability analysis, data collection and analysis, financial impact, root-cause identification, etc.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflicts and/or neutralize organizational resistance to change.
  • Program/project management experience with proven ability to successfully lead large-scale, enterprise-wide projects with information technology and business process implications. Ability to collaborate and partner with various subject-matter experts and other delivery teams (e.g., IT, ePMO) across the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate productive meetings with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven complex problem-solving skills and demonstrated outcome delivery
  • Strong ability to build internal and external relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to lead conversations at senior levels with strong executive presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to be successful within a fast pace, highly matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner with various SMEs across the organization
  • Demonstrated direct and indirect leadership skills including the ability to inspire others to follow
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate and adapt strategy and approach based on changing business conditions.
  • Expert level experience in negotiation, collaboration, influencing, and working in a matrixed environment.  High degree of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
  • Proficient with business productivity (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • 25% travel requirement.
