Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Building and integrating technology systems to meet our client’ s needs across multiple platforms and technologies
Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it
Provide guidance in product, component and vendor selection as appropriate for specific projects
Resolving technical problems as they arise
Providing supervision and guidance to development teams
Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented
Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have
Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’ s degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
Experience working in a digital agency or a consultancy – nice to have
Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
Lead technical meetings and represent the agency with clients
Creating user stories and documentation with JIRA & Confluence or similar
Experience with Enterprise Architect tool or other UML tool
Designed and developed Enterprise Services Layer, Micro Services, REST APIs
Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases (NoSQL database, Mongo DB, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server), as well as cloud hosting providers and services (AWS, Azure)
Creatively approach solutions across many interesting technologies:
- CMS (AEM, Sitecore, Wordpress), Web Servers (Apache/NGINX), OpenGL, Front-End Solutions (React,?), CRM, ERP, Learning Management Solutions (LMS), Rewards Platforms, AWS Services
Efficient verbal and written communication skills
Experience with CI/CD Pipelines and lead team in implementation
