This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a global voice deployment ensuring consistency with strategy, commitments, and goals. The IT project manager will be responsible for managing and delivering the global voice solution using formal project management processes as well as standard project delivery methodologies. The candidate must operate effectively and autonomously under pressure while adhering to core values of insight, engagement, communication, integrity and excellence.

Required: IT Project Planning, Implementation, Closeout; MS Project; Microsoft Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Project Risk/Issue Management; Stakeholder Management; Experience managing fast-paced large-scale, multi-site IT deployments; Experience managing teams; Adhere to project and deliverable timelines

Desired: Experience managing VoIP and Cisco Technology deployments, Documentation archival in SharePoint

Responsible for project management of: VoIP Infrastructure and Phones, Call Manager and Interactive Intelligence Integration, E911, Fax over IP, Soft Phone Implementation. Conduct team, customer, and vendor status meetings. Lead implementations. Update Project documentation (Risk/Issue Logs, Weekly Status Reports, Meeting Minutes, Project Plans, Implementation Plans, Communications Plans, Project Charters, Test Checklists, etc.). Report to Program Manager.

Must possess a PMP certification or 10 plus years’ experience managing complex IT projects.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Assuming full responsibility for the overall management and completion of the voice project
  • Leading the planning and implementation of the voice project
  • Facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Developing and managing full scale project plans, budgets, and resources
  • Acting as the focal point of communication between the team members and stakeholders, both client and internal,
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress of the project to internal and external stakeholders
  • Defining project tasks and resource requirements
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines
  • Tracking project deliverables using the appropriate tools
  • Providing direction and support to project team
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress of the project to internal and external stakeholders
  • Presenting reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Implementing and managing project changes/interventions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Daily cadence with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure overall success
  • Project evaluations and assessment of end results
  • Quality assurance

What We Will Need from You:
  • 5-10+ years of experience in managing information systems and/or IT project delivery
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or 10+ years of project management

experience (must meet minimum documented project hours for audit requirements)
  • Experience utilizing Agile delivery methodology

Bonus If You Have:
  • Agile or SCRUM Certification (Scrum Alliance, etc.)
  • Experience supporting projects related to network engineering, data center or information security
