Project Manager, Analytics

The Project Manager, Analytics & Data will partner with the Analytics business leads to develop and maintain project plans for key analytics and data initiatives. Specifically, this role will support the integration of advertising & marketing related data sources to our enterprise BI tool, QlikSense. This individual will host project meetings, document, organize and distribute key information to project stakeholders, manage deadlines by partnering with internal teams and external partners.

This role requires familiarity with and experience on data integration projects. Working across both product owners, business leads and technology teams, this project manager will be expected to communicate effectively and quickly build a positive working rapport with team members and stakeholders. They bring strong organizational skills to keep all team members informed and on task, moving the project to meet deadlines and key milestones. Proactively communicating delays, concerns or changes to project plans. Additional experience in change management to drive increased adoption of our BI tool, communicating and driving excitement among our users.

 

Requirements:
  • 5+ years related experience, no less than 3 specifically in project and change management roles
  • Bachelor’ s degree
  • Project Management Certification (CAPM or PMP)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of project planning tools (MS Project, Jira, Version One, etc.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suites of products, (i.e. Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Familiarity and experience in both waterfall and agile/scrum environments
  • Preferred experience in a media or advertising related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to quickly build relationships and a collaborative, positive, and performance driven project team culture

 

Responsibilities:
  • Developing, drafting, and managing complex workflows
  • Planning and coordinating across multiple delivery teams
  • Hosting effective project meetings, standups, stakeholder presentations, etc. in a remote work environment
  • Effectively communicating with cross-functional partners (technical and non-technical)
  • Managing projects against aggressive timelines
  • Working within and planning against a defined release schedule
  • Gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements, functional requirements and data specifications
  • Prioritizing and maintaining customer request backlogs
  • Designing and supervising ongoing quality control and testing (QC, UAT)
  • Documenting critical processes
  • Overseeing day-to-day customer support on programs you manage
  • Resolving inefficiencies in tools, process, and workflow as well as find new methods to promote efficiency and consistency
  • Assisting in basic data analysis
  • Assisting with vendor management
