Our client is looking to add a Sr. Tableau Consultant to their team. The candidates will be a member of the Business Intelligence Competency Center within the Application Delivery group. As part of this group, the individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and establishing best practices for the Tableau Reporting and BI teams within this Investment Management Team. This is a highly visible role. This individual will also be required to play a significant role in evaluating the production support of related systems and operations processes utilized by other Tableau Developers within the environment in a timely and professional manner.

Technical Requirements
  • Bachelor’ s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years developing Tableau reports
  • 5+ years of database development including SQL queries, stored procedure & view creation
  • 2+ years experience and knowledge in fixed income products and investment management domain
  • Ability to develop complex Tableau dashboards from multiple data sources; including data from live database connections and Tableau data extracts
  • 2+ years experience working with the Oracle database & PL/SQL
  • Has worked with large datasets (hundreds of millions of rows) in Tableau and presented the information at multiple levels of detail (i.e. aggregated views that are drillable to granular levels)
  • Highly self-motivated, results oriented, and capable of independent critical thinking and problem solving
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members
