IT Support Specialist

 

Required Qualifications: 
• 3 to 5 years hands-on experience with installation, configuration, troubleshooting software hardware, networking and accessory equipment. 
• Proficiency with assembly and disassembly of PC systems (Laptops/Desktops) and components, including network cabling. 
• Strong knowledge of Windows 7-based networking environment and Microsoft office applications including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project and Outlook 
• Proficiency in using SCCM 
• Strong proficiency with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments. 
• Proficiency with remote connectivity issues, such as VPN 
• Working experience performing Desktop Support duties: reset passwords, resolve email, hardware, software, network issues. VMware experience a big plus. 
• Ability to follow up on assignments from members of the team, dealing with tight deadlines, and managing priorities effectively while providing excellent customer service 
• Working experience installing Laptop and Desktop PCs, printers, operating systems, and application software in corporate offices 
• Experience with Windows servers, Cisco ASA/Firewall Support, Routers, Network Routing / Troubleshooting 
• Experience using an operational ticketing system to record changes and work history details 
• Fully participate in managing daily activities through the use of a call tracking system 
• Strong interpersonal and organization skills 
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills. 
• Previous experience with Jira and Jenkins desirable
