JOB DESCRIPTION

Business Analysts are responsible for leading initial client working sessions and stakeholder interviews to elicit and document the strategic project goals, business requirements and functional requirements of the solution. The BA works closely with the technical architect to document functional and non-functional requirements used to inform the User Experience, Design, and Development teams prior to design and development sprints. Throughout the project, the BA monitors project design and development to ensure functional and business requirements are being met while working closely with members of the development team to resolve and clarify technical or functional requirements issues. The BA is responsible for providing analytic dashboards and scorecards to track ROI, conversions, site traffic and engagement patterns once a solution is live.

 

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate client stakeholder working sessions and interviews

• Participate in end-user interviews with UX

• Define the as-is and to-be state to perform a gap analysis

• Elicit and document business and functional requirements

• Provide solution recommendations based on product capabilities, client needs and best practices

• Engineer multi-system data flows and end user process flows

• Work with PMs to establish and follow production timelines and project time allocations

• Collaborate with Technical Architects and development team on functional and technical requirements

• Work with with UX to provide functional requirements and UI feedback

• Participate in QA and UAT to provide use case oversight and requirement clarifications

• Prepare KPI scorecards by performing data analysis within various web analytics tools to manage ROI, conversion, and traffic metrics

• Ensure production timelines and project time allocations are respected

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’ s degree in a related field

• Both practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Strong communication skills, internally and externally, with the ability to be the communication bridge between the client, UX, and Development teams

• Experience analyzing business requirements, creating functional specifications, user scenarios, and process flow diagrams

• Working knowledge of the SDLC and Agile methodologies

• Ability to work under tight deadlines

• Strong personal work ethic with ability to go above and beyond

• Positive, team player attitude is critical
