Position Summary:

Our client is Plano is looking for a Communications Analyst with experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Audience Builder. This a client-facing role which will interact and work with clients, project managers, developers, and end users to design and implement communications and technology solutions focused on Customer Relationship Management (CRM). This role will support the design, execution, analysis and strategy of marketing communications to drive campaign performance and ROI on marketing spend for our clients. This individual will liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to understand the requirements for each campaign; develop/write the segmentation, QA/QC the campaigns and test cell counts prior to delivery to the client. This role requires a working knowledge of database marketing, campaign management systems or related tools and analytical thought leadership. 

Position Responsibilities  Required:
  • Serve as the single point of resolution for clients’ campaign related deliverables 
  • Manage the campaign calendar and related deliverables’ plans/timelines, coordinating internally and externally as required to ensure timely delivery 
  • Maintain confidentiality while working closely with client regarding all aspects of campaigns. 
  • Produce counts for proposed initiatives working closely with client marketers and internal account strategy 
  • Create quality assurance/control steps to ensure that delivered lists meet clients’ targeting requirements and are free of data irregularities on a continuing basis 
  • Document processes thoroughly to serve as a cross-training and reference guide for colleagues performing back-up support 
  • Participate in upfront planning of marketing campaigns to translate hypotheses and business objectives into a test design framework within a campaign 
  • Develop and document test designs, applying test/control (A/B split) 
  • Develop and send mass e-communications for client-focused programs 
  • Manage change request process and ensure that management is notified in a timely manner of any potential changes in project scope/expected deliverables 
  • Monitor progress on projects according to the project plan and raise problems to management’ s attention 
  • Produce testing scenarios, assist in creating test plans and perform testing based on test plan of outbound channel creative and content

Position Qualifications  Required:
  • Experience using SQL and data models 
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Audience Builder
  • Comprehension of the major concepts in Database Marketing (e.g. test and control cells, suppression logic, de-duplication, data hygiene, householding) 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience demonstrating proficiency in understanding the structure and design of relational database models in order to translate client requests into technical select criteria 
  • Previous experience with pulling campaign lists that meet client’ s objectives and cell / audience segmentations using approved campaign management software 
  • Positive attitude and willingness to develop successful working relationships with internal and external/client stakeholders while working under tight deadlines. 
  • Strong attention to detail, process documentation, quality assurance/control and process improvement 
  • Bachelor Degree

  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple project deliverables and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
