Job Description:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Business Administration, or related fields or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 4 years’ experience as a business systems analyst or equivalent experience.
  • Website Content Management Experience
  • Enterprise Marketing/Email/CRM Solutions Experience
  • 3rd Party Content Syndication/Aggregation Experience
  • SQL Skills for Exploratory and Troubleshooting Analysis
  • Experience working with 3rd party components integrated with SaaS and/or custom systems
  • Data Analytics (e.g. Excel Pivot Tables) and Presentation  Skills

•     Work with business functional teams to effectively use IT technologies and solutions to drive business value
o     Maintain active relationships and good rapport with individuals in your assigned business functional teams (Sales, Marketing)
o     Establish and maintain a core understanding of the functional team members and their responsibilities
o     Meet with team members regularly to develop and understand where technology could be applied to add value to their role
o     Encourage business investment and involvement in projects and operational work with IT 

•     Balance the technical needs of the business with IT’ s overall technical strategy
o     Involve Enterprise Architects early and often on technical decision discussions
o     Actively limit “ shadow IT” or “ under the radar solutions” that undermine IT’ s ability to maintain those systems and provide support

•     Ensure that assigned systems & applications meet business expectations, are well-designed and intuitive for users
o     Provide SME and PM support role in projects related to assigned systems & applications
o     Collect and prioritize enhancements and issues for system & application operational releases with business team
o     Coordinate Change Management process (Dev, QA, UAT) for operational releases with all participants
o     Manage deployments and validation for operational releases

•     Maintain a high level of quality across all assigned systems & applications 
o     Maintain System availability for critical applications of at least 99.9%:
o     Ensure zero production bugs due to negligence or oversight
o     Direct QA team in creation and management of a library of regression test cases in TFS Test Manager (for automated, QA and UAT testing) and use consistently during Projects and Operational initiatives to test application functionality

•     Ensure zero exceptions related to Change Management process on periodic audits

•     Provide excellent service and support to business functions

•     Facilitate effective training and support for assigned systems & applications
o     Assist IT Training Developer in creating and maintaining computer-based-training modules for all applications, systems, and technical processes
o     Knowledge Base articles covering common questions/issues and operational runbook for Tier 1 & 2 support
o     Establish at least monthly meetings with the Tier 2 Application Support team to review common Service Desk issues and identify systemic issues that need to be resolved

•     Create and maintain well-organized and compete documentation for assigned systems & applications
o     Develop and maintain End-user documentation, FAQs, whitepapers, wiki’ s, etc. focusing on ease of access, quality of info and variety of delivery styles to match how users best learn.
o     Operational runbooks for end-user and IT admins as needed
o     1 year Product roadmap for assigned systems and related technologies 
o     TFS Test Manager Regression test library (in conjunction with QA Team) for testing supported systems (ex: loads, integrations, custom functionality specific to company)

•     Provide a weekly status update (as part of the IT/Marketing Meeting Agenda) covering each Application/System:
o     Activities completed last week
o     Activities planned next week 
o     Future milestone dates (deployments, etc.)
o     Roadblocks and risks
