Job Description

The Vice President, Product Delivery-North America, is responsible for the delivery of the Regions’ ‘ local’ product portfolio, in accordance with the overall global portfolio strategy. The role will drive the technology strategy, product quality targets, and portfolio management (e.g. migration, rationalization) within the region, in line with the globally defined approach from Global Product Marketing. The role will also own the North American roadmap delivery, and ensure the optimization of resource allocations to support the North American business ambition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the Local Product roadmap delivery for the Region, ensuring regional alignment and delivery with Global Product Marketing expectations and Chief Technology Officer Guidelines.
  • Lead adherence to Company’ s portfolio management principles and strategy across countries, championing migration and rationalization initiatives as required as defined by Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Encourage and drive North American approaches and collaborative solutions, to common product and customer issues and opportunities (e.g. Common API strategy, Features as a Service).
  • Manage resource allocation, prioritizing growth initiatives that support North American financial performance and strategic plan, minimizing effort on ‘ heritage’ local products.
  • Identify efficiencies from across North America, encouraging collaborative efforts, reducing duplication and minimizing waste. Re-invest in ‘ growth’ projects and products, and contribute to Global Product Delivery function over time.
  • Work with Global functions in the creation of a center of excellence for the development of ‘ Heritage’ product portfolio, aiding the transition to the shared services model.
  • Instill and champion agile approach methodology across the North American R&D teams.
  • Manage the Regional Shared Components Service Center that will host the projects for strategic initiatives (e.g. Core product modernization, APIs, SSO, Auto-update etc.).
  • Contribute to and own the execution of the API strategy for growth products.
  • Sign-off the launch of online products and releases, meeting expectations of the commercial business and internal policy from Security and Live Operations.
  • Host Regional resources for Innovation and incubation reporting to the Global Chief Technology Officer organization.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Strong experience in multinational companies in the IT business.
  • Strong experience of product delivery with wide and international product portfolio.
  • Technology background and excellent track record in terms of project execution and delivery.
  • Experience in Application Lifecycle management and Agile methods.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a matrix environment and to lead by influence.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, thoughtful leader.
  • North America-wide and some European travel required
