Support Engineer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•     Rely on strong problem-solving skills to understand and resolve both simple and complex technical issues
•     Provide consistent communication to customer inquiries via phone, email, and our internal ticket system, meeting or exceeding SLA response times
•     Accurately document client support issues, providing a detailed description as well as troubleshooting steps and resolution
•     Provide scheduled monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual systems maintenance
•     Work after business hours and on weekends, based on client needs
•     Perform on-call support duties on a rotating weekly basis
•     Work on consulting and support projects for the Systems Engineers and Systems Architects
•     Establish and manage customer relationships 

Business Qualifications
•     Strong attention to detail, outstanding resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently as well as in partnership with other engineers
•     Ability to manage multiple tickets at once and determine priorities effectively
•     Motivation to exceed client expectations and build trust 

Technical Qualifications
•     Great with VMware vSphere and vCenter
•     Great with Microsoft Windows Server 
•     Good with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
•     Knows a thing or two about Microsoft Exchange
•     Knows a thing or two about firewalls and VLANs
•     Knows there is always an answer to a problem
