The Project Manager is tasked with directing and monitoring the requirements and progress of short-term IT projects involving a limited number of personnel

  • Experience managing multiple/simultaneous IT projects

  • Ability to work in a fast moving environment with tolerance of ambiguity
  • Coordinate a multi-skilled project team

  • Coordinate multiple/simultaneous projects from beginning to end
  • Clearly, concisely and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Communicate and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Track project milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date status reports
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Communicate/disseminate project success criteria to involved parties throughout project life cycle
  • Flexible and adaptive conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or relevant experience
  • Minimum ten (10) years experience in an IT project management role
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • ITIL Foundations certification is a plus
  • Excellent computer proficiency using Microsoft Project
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
