The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for directing and monitoring project requirements and progress. The Project Coordinator is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of the PMO Manager.



•  Must have strong analytical, time-management, problem-solving and decision making abilities

• Proven ability to produce work with limited supervision

• Ability to work in a fast moving environment with tolerance of ambiguity

• Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating

• Coordinate multiple/simultaneous projects from beginning to end

• Assist the Project Manager in the drafting and preliminary schedules

• Track the progress and quality of work being performed by project teams

• Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, and budgets

• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project teams

• Communicate ideas for improving processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others

• Keep the PMO Manager and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations

• Clearly, concisely and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion

• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders

• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date status reports

• Flexible and adaptive conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor



• Bachelor’ s Degree from an accredited university or relevant experience

• Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting Project Managers in the delivery of IT projects

• ITIL Foundations certification is a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
