L3 Operations Support Engineer Top Skills: · Minimum years 3-5 in system admin – ideal candidate will be closer to 5 years  · Solid background in UNIX and some background in Wintel system administration  · Previous experience as an L2 or L3 engineer responding to and resolving incidents    The Network Security Operations Support Engineer role is primarily responsible for supporting the Host and Applications Security team with technical support to administer, troubleshoot, resolve incidents, and determine root cause within the security infrastructure. A successful candidate will have strong Unix/Linux and Wintel system administration experience. Some assigned activities include: Operations related work and projects, Security assessments, CoB testing, maintaining documentation and inventories, and the integration of Infrastructure and tools.     Required:  · Minimum years 3-5 in system admin – ideal candidate will be closer to 5 years  · Solid background in UNIX and some background in Wintel system administration  · Previous experience as an L2 or L3 engineer responding to and resolving incidents     Preferred:  · Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Release management  · Conduct Root Cause Analysis and resolution on identified problems and defects  · Provide expertise to support projects, transition efforts, and operations  · Perform security assessments on the environment  · Perform continuity of business testing  · Perform risk and self-assessment audits  · Experience with HSM (Hardware Security Module) in ATTLA, Safenet (LUNA, PSE) and THALES are a plus  · Certifications are a plus (CISSP, ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, CEH, Redhat, Solaris, MCSE)  · Responsible to assess the risk and associated impact of all operational issues and change events  · Maintain and update inventories and documentation  · Document and do knowledge transfer to other team members  · Work closely with the infrastructure team to ensure the requirements are met during application integrations  · Programming languages (Java, Perl, C/C++) is a plus  · Scripting, DB management, SQL, and ability to write complex queries is a plus Additional Details · Ability to work across all levels of the organization  · Strong analytical skills and attention to detail  · Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
