Network Vendor Manager (Hardware)

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly assertive personality who has innate leadership capabilities and does not hesitate to provide thorough input and clear direction under high pressure situations. We need someone who can field a phone call from executive leaders and provide a proper executive status update without apprehension. This person will be accountable for their vendor relationships and ability to influence these vendors to provide best-in-class service. 

Daily Responsibilities 
- Provide service level management support the  global network with a focus on supplier relationship management and oversight. 
- Unify and standardize processes and reports that align to the firm’ s third party management policies. 
- Manage periodic true-up processes for network infrastructure maintenance coverage. 
- Manage annual maintenance renewal efforts across multiple teams. 
- Assist operations with expediting vendor delays, contract issues, and inventory concerns. 
- Validate vendor-provided performance data using ServiceNow information and other tools. 
- Work with multiples teams to conduct supplier risk assessments against deadlines, acting as the central business supplier relationship management contact for the team. 
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate interdepartmental processes 
- Assist with other departmental service level management responsibilities as needed

Qualifications / Requisite Knowledge Base 
- Basic knowledge of enterprise technology solutions. 
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP communications and/or telecommunications. 
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a corporate IT support environment. 
- Minimum 5 years experience working with Microsoft Office products or similar. 
- Minimum 2 years experience with building valuable operational metrics and forecasting. 
- Financial experience a plus. 
- Familiarity with IT Service Management applications, like ServiceNow. 
- ITIL v3 Foundations certification or commensurate experience of 1 year in related ITSM processes. 
- CCNA a plus.
