Network Administrator (Engineer)
The Information Technology Department is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Network Administrator in Atlanta, Georgia.
Minimum Requirements & Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Systems and/or equivalent experience (5 years experience as a Network Administrator) in the following areas: router, switch and firewall configuration, network design, circuit/equipment troubleshooting, network monitoring, network security, project support and delivery.
Preferred Certifications :
Primary Equipment directly supported by:
Cisco 3750g/3560g, 28xx/72xx routers, 6509
Juniper EX4200/3300 both stand alone and virtual chassis, SA4500, Aruba
Experience with Juniper network equipment.
Experience with Aruba wireless access points, Solarwinds network monitoring, MPLS service with QoS, VoIP.
Ability to document and maintain accurate network designs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and in teams as needed
Ability to see complex issues through to completion, including ownership of follow up and escalation
Willingness and desire to learn new technologies
Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities
Proven record of success in a flexible, team based environment
Flexibility to work occasional afterhours and weekends

Key Responsibilities & Competencies:
Manage/trouble shoot mixed Cisco/Juniper LAN, supporting VLAN and 802.1x, strong background in supporting Layer 3 routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF.
Support corporate and plant WiFi network networks.
Consult with other departments on future project network requirements.
Administer Corporate HQ and Data Center networks.
Escalation for local system administrators.
Implement QoS on existing infrastructure.
Administer Network Monitoring – Orion.
Manage/trouble shoot mixed Cisco/Juniper WAN Remote sites leverage Carrier MPLS and/or IPSec VPN with a mix of EIGRP/GRE, OSPF, BGP. Prefer candidate with experience in migration/design to BGP/OSPF dynamic routing architecture.
Manage Dual carrier MPLS WAN networks.
Manage IPSec VPN primary and backup circuits.
Implement BGP/OSPF design.
Manage/implement zone based security model within the network, securing corporate, wireless and production traffic. Facilitate secure vendor access to plant equipment. Manage/configure SSL VPN supporting corporate/vendor remote workforce.
Proficiency in design/configuration Source/Destination NAT.
Accesslist traffic restrictions.
Implementation of security policy/zones in Juniper SRX.
Expand implementation of virtual routers in plant network.
