The primary function of a Lead Application Developer is to fulfill a leadership role in planning, designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring and documenting packaged application systems and/or custom software development solutions. The Lead Application Developer will work with other application developers and guide the technical solutions through design and coding standards ensuring adherence to our standard Software Development Methodologies (SDM). This position will play a critical role in the development of a SOA foundation for internally developed applications and 3rd party integrations.      



- Lead a team of developers by adhering to the software standards agreed to by the development team and communicating the importance of good software design and development principles. 

- Ensure code quality standards within the team.

- Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages (C# preferred) and software products; designing and conducting tests.
- Defines API/ Website objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.

-Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.

-Completes application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.                

- Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.

- Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.

- Updates job knowledge by researching new internet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.                

- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

- 5-8 Years C#.NET Software Development Experience
- Extensive API design/development experience
- Some database design experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor's Degree
