Integration Developer [Work Location: Washington DC]

Design, develop and deploy interfaces at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the implementation of Disgorgements and Penalty System (DPS) using CGI Momentum. It includes real-time web-services based interface to SEC' s strategic DPS system; requires hands-on design, development, and testing of interfaces, and ensure that he software development process follows SEC-specific SDLC (with multi-step approvals and documentation). Additionally, the role includes working with the technical and integration leads to provide technical support to the project.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review of as-is interface documentation, code, and other resources
  • Design of web services and development of to-be protocol demonstration
  • Definition of interface test environment
  • Development of interface test scenarios
  • Interface system testing, support for client end-to-end testing, and interface training and deployment
  • Support for operations and maintenance of interfaces
  • Serve as a Point Of Contact (POC) to the customer
  • Coordination with SEC’ s functional team on design, development, and test activities

 

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’ s or master’ s degree
  • 4-6 years of experience with integrations development
  • At least two (2) years of prior experience developing interfaces to/from Momentum or similar financial systems (Oracle Financials, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.)
  • Strong interface design experience with ERP-like systems
  • Technical management / leadership experience is a plus
  • Hands-on development experience using Java and C
  • Experience with webMethods is preferred
  • Optionally, ability to work well with others, manage schedule, and produce deliverables
