We primarily use server side React/Redux f, but we also have some projects that use Angular, JQuery, and ASPX. The team is constantly evaluating frameworks and other tooling that best fit.  We are a highly collaborative team that code reviews everything and tries to improve as developers every day. The frontend developer position will help contribute and lead to those team goals.


Primary Responsibilities

·         Develop and support internal and external frontend web applications

·         Submit and participate in code reviews of feature and bugs

·         Maintains feature and bug branches in git

·         Participate in code refactorings and creating unit/integration tests

·         Maintain and refactor legacy code, Angular 1 and jQuery, and ASPX projects

·         Communicate clearly and concisely with fellow frontend team members, backend team members, and manager

·         Must be able to work within a team framework, no lone wolves

·         Additionally, this position may be required to perform other responsibilities as assigned

Organizational Relationships

·         Works closely with other frontend developers

·         Peer review the code of other frontend developers

·         Work with .NET developers to discuss REST-ful and Websocket API endpoints design and bugs



·         2 year minimum working experience in frontend technologies HTML, CSS, and JS

·         Released production applications using frameworks outside of jQuery (Angular, React, Ember, etc.)

·         Knowledge of React’s lifecycle and state management

·         Solid familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3 specifications

·         Experience with lodash, Immutable.JS, a big plus

·         Familiarity with server side node.js, npm, and frontend tooling

·         Familiarity with Javascript unit and integration testing, with Phantom.JS and Selenium experience, a plus

·         Experience with git branch management

·         Knowledge and demonstration ability of the JS runtime, inheritance patterns, and general application architecture

·         Ability to debug production bottlenecks using proper debugging tools and techniques

·         Built developer workflows including project build/commit/review processes and continuous integration

·         Familiarity of progress being made in the frontend ecosystem including advances in node.js and ECMAScript specifications

·         Self motivated, constantly learning, and knows how to complete projects

·         Open source involvement and/or contributions

·         Conference and meetup talks

·         Other JS community involvement

·         Strong communication skills
