To do this, our office is comprised of multiple teams including user experience/user interface designers, software architects and engineers, infrastructure and operations staff, testers and developers. 4+ years of ETL development experience, preferably within the IT or Product environment. Experience within data warehousing is also preferred
Bachelor’ s Degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
Hands on experience with reporting tools/analytics such as Business Objects or Microstrategy
Hands on database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle and/or DB2
Understanding of data integration problems, including validating and cleaning data
Ability to architect, design and develop an enterprise business intelligence and data warehousing solution
Define, design and implement logical and physical data models
Experience with any of the following: Informatica, Business Objects or Microstrategy
Proficient in SQL
Design and develop data cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions involving standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching
Qualified candidates are also required to have at least one full lifecycle project experience in one or more of the following areas:
Experience creating processes for defining and documenting data standards and meta models
Build an integrated metadata environment consisting of both operational and business metadata and ensure the quality and integrity of the data
Identify opportunities to optimize performance of existing data structures
Design and implement data quality and data auditing processes
Provide expertise in data discovery and profiling
Master’ s Degree in computer science, engineering or related field
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter, be flexible, detail-oriented, a team-player and work well independently
Be a good problem-solver and must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
