As  Director, Solutions Architecture, you will play a leading role in our product and business development efforts in the US market for our pension and benefits administration solution. You will provide technical and business leadership on the Ariel platform for the purposes of: promoting the  vision and solution, developing opportunities and generating interest.

You will be involved in all key stages of opportunity development from early stage (pre-RFP) presentations to start of contracting, including active participation in supporting the proposal creation process with specific solution related content. This position calls for initiative, autonomy, knowledge of enterprise solutions and advanced presentation skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver the technical and demonstration portions of presentations
    • Work with the sales and the pursuit team to validate demonstration requirements and develop tailored scripts
    • Create and deliver presentations and demos that highlight the technical solution and core competencies
    • Determine and articulate value proposition of solution, and participate in deep architectural discussions
  • Support the proposal and opportunity   process by providing specific solution related content & graphics
    • Provide detailed descriptions of the architecture components, services and interfaces for the proposed solution
    • Understand and clarify our prospective clients’ functional and technical needs and develop a solution strategy in line with their business goals
    • Architect and enable technical workshop materials, demos, and product/service integration, as appropriate
  • Own the maintenance, configuration and enhancements of demo solutions
    • Create and maintain system demos that are relevant across different segments and services
    • Continuously assess competitor solutions, market feedback and technology trends to identify enhancement opportunities and build business cases to support  
    • Work with the various teams at within Administrative Solutions and IT to ensure a high quality, stable demonstration environment and delivery
  • Participate in the Business Architecture Team meetings to:
    • Develop an understanding of software solutions
    • Provide market insight to the business architecture team on trends
    • Ensure bi-directionally understanding and alignment of enterprise architecture roadmaps and product demonstrations

Requirements:
  • Relevant bachelor' s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in the technology or software industry
  • 5+ years of experience building, presenting, demonstrating, and explaining complex IT solutions to external prospects and clients
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting large scale technology solutions
  • Knowledge of compliance, legal and security considerations including HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley and ADA regulations
  • Hands-on project management experience (PMBOK and/or SDLC)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in both technical and business terms
  • Proven record of success interfacing with executive leadership and external clients 
  • Proven consulting expertise, including creating win/wins, negotiation, influence, salesmanship without having direct authority over resources involved
  • Experience with enterprise solutions within HR, Benefits Administration, Eligibility Management, EDI and/or Claims Management systems desired
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time if required
