Job Description:

An Account Lead on the Database Services team is the subject matter expert on one or more client accounts and will assist various developers from a pooled environment with any and all system change requests. The Account Lead will be a key player in the design of our LoyaltyWare® and CRM installations. An Account Lead is aware of all policies and procedures, and closely monitors to ensure those are followed.

· Advanced SQL Queries
· Advanced PL/SQL knowledge
· OLTP and OLAP database concepts
· Linux/Unix – file management and shell scripting is a plus, but not mandatory

Job Duties:
· Contribute to cross-team solution design and ensure standards and best practices are followed
· Review business requirements documents and provide ballpark estimates for any necessary database development
· Provide impact analysis and solution design for all change requests after reviewing and approving all related documentation
· Write technical documents as necessary
· Create a physical data model from a logical model, and add indexes, constraints, and partitioning strategies to increase the efficiency of reading and writing data to the schema
· Mine data in historical or sample files to facilitate better design decisions for ETL and data modeling
· Generate entity relationship diagrams from existing physical data models
· Create both table and column descriptions used to generate a data dictionary
· Design ETL strategies for accomplishing functional requirements 
· When necessary, develop PL/SQL code with optimal performance as a high priority objective
· Migrate database builds while enforcing internal change management policies
· Manage code repositories including trunks, tags, and branches
· Automate tasks and create code generation routines to constantly become more efficient
· Interface directly with clients as necessary
