This position is responsible for managing, developing and coordinating internal and external communications that support overall goals and initiatives and are aligned with the company’ s philosophy & values. This role will create and manage communications on behalf of the President and COO, as well as other Executive leaders of the organization. The Senior Communications Manager will also develop internal and external presentations. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•     Write effective communications that can help inform, educate and engage internal and external customers with business priorities
•     Design communications that align with brand standards
•     Work collaboratively with business units, leaders and internal colleagues to create and manage cross-organizational, integrated communications strategies
•     Plan, manage and prepare key messages for relevant audiences, and execute across the internal communication channels i.e.: intranet, e-mail, print, etc.
•     Collaborates with Corporate Communications colleagues and communicators to promote enterprise-wide communications 
•     Quickly evaluates and capitalizes on timely communications opportunities
•     Continually incorporates the latest technologies and best practices to amplify communications
•     Develop communications strategies and lead high quality implementation of communications that pinpoint the company’ s strategic messages and effectively deliver those messages
•     Manage the development and execution of communication plans that support change initiatives
•     Implement and oversee communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its initiatives
•     Design and prepare presentations geared toward  leaders and employees
•     Oversees strategy, planning, management and communication of a worldwide event for the sales organization in conjunction with a third party
•     Monitors and controls global budget and negotiates all necessary contracts
•     Oversee and manage a wide variety of highly prioritized global projects, as well as complete ad-hoc projects, requests, and analysis
    
COMPETENCIES 

Knowledge:
•     Strong project management skills
•     Advanced skills in all Microsoft suite products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word 
•     Skills in G-Suite would an asset

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
•     Bachelor’ s Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or a related field
•     7+ years of experience in the communications field, with at least 2 of those years with experience in internal communications
•     Solid experience using multiple communications platforms, including digital, print etc.
•     Direct experience working with all levels of an organization
•     Highly effective interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills
•     Proven track record of writing, preparing and editing effective materials across a variety of communication channels
•     Strong attention to detail

Preferred:
•     Human Resources Experience
