Business Systems Analyst (HR & Payroll)

Looking for technical & functional  business HR and payroll analysis; Kronos, Lawson experience preferred.

Responsible for:
  • Providing system-level support for business applications and demonstrates project management skills.
  • Support includes installation, configuration, maintenance, training, reporting and production support for business applications.
  • This position works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation and knowledge with the application.
  • The Business Systems Analyst may provide leadership for other team members as well as the business units, technology teams and support teams.
  • This position will support the business objectives of the hospital as well as the delivery of safe patient care and services.

Designs and develops reports using reporting tools as well as creating complex queries using SQL

Leads the effort in logging, tracking, analyzing, and coordinating all system changes, including any software code implementations, as well as resolving issues related to software code modifications or enhancements in Footprints

Collaborates with clients, developers, integration engineers, and infrastructure in the conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications

Prepares scripts and materials as well as performing unit, system and integrated testing tasks in Lawson

Accountable for the development, implementation and support of on-going operational system support and resolution of escalated issues
  • Strong knowledge and experience in manipulating and using relational databases such as SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, etc.
  • Demonstrated work experience in the support of a large and diverse multi-state, multi-entity payroll operation, with a strong understanding of HR & payroll-related issues.
  • Experience supporting company specific needs for: garnishments; sick/ leave plans; benefit and attendance plan rules; FLSA overtime calculations; earnings calculations; employee deduction calculations; interfaces and general ledger transactions.
  • Experience with other large company in house payroll system preferred for example: Workday, UltiPro, Oracle, SAP, or PeopleSoft preferred.
  • Experience in project leadership, system design, business process design and documentation; specification preparation and application testing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll administration, including federal and state wage & hour and tax regulations, in a multi-state environment.
  • Knowledge and experience using Success Factors a plus.
